NFD Korea Breaks Ground on 300MW AI Data Center Campus in Dangjin
The 200MW first segment has secured its site, power agreement, permits, and general contractor; the additional 100MW segment is in the permitting process.

NFD Korea's 300MW AI data center campus in the Songsan 2 General Industrial Complex in Dangjin has moved into full-scale development. Site acquisition, a power supply agreement, and building permits for the initial 200MW segment were completed, and DL E&C was selected as general contractor. Pre-construction work is underway on Building A, with construction scheduled to begin in early November 2026.
The campus comprises Buildings A and B, totaling 200MW, and an additional 100MW Building C. Following the September 9 agreement among Chungcheongnam-do Province, Dangjin City, NFD Korea, and EFD, permitting for Building C is underway with completion targeted for December 2026. NFD Korea has secured a 300MW power supply agreement with KEPCO, while LS Electric is scheduled to deliver key transformers in stages from 2027 to 2028.
About 90km southwest of Seoul, the campus is being designed for high-density AI workloads with liquid cooling and up to 160kW of power per rack. Building A is targeting Ready-for-Service in the first quarter of 2028, with Buildings B and C also targeting service during 2028. Final specifications will be set according to tenant requirements.
