NFD Korea CEO Interview: "AI Data Center Competitiveness Lies in Speed of Supply and High-Density Infrastructure"

NFD Korea CEO Jae Woo Choi, in an interview with Electronic Times, South Korea's leading IT publication, said that the competitive edge in AI data center development has shifted from power procurement to speed of supply.

Drawing on his experience at AWS and Brookfield-affiliated DCI, Choi highlighted that the Dangjin 300MW AI data center campus has secured land, power, and all necessary permits — significantly reducing development risk.

Located within an established industrial complex, the campus features liquid cooling and up to 160kW per rack to meet high-density AI workload demands. Choi also expressed confidence in South Korea's potential to emerge as Asia's premier AI data center hub.
