Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead design review and construction oversight of data center mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, cooling, and fire protection. This role spans the full project lifecycle — from pre-construction Technical Due Diligence and design value engineering through commissioning — and includes technical collaboration on airflow, thermal distribution, and cooling performance based on a foundational understanding of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), as well as coordination with domestic and international CSPs and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and review of data center mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, cooling, fire protection, etc.)
  • Pre-construction Technical DD, design VE, and CAPEX optimization
  • Mechanical construction process management and quality control during the construction phase
  • Commissioning planning and on-site support
  • Technical coordination with domestic and international CSPs/clients
  • Foundational understanding of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) as applied to airflow, thermal distribution, and cooling performance in data centers, and technical collaboration with CFD service providers

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • 7–15 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Hands-on experience in HVAC and piping design/construction
  • Experience in mechanical engineering for data centers or large-scale infrastructure (e.g., semiconductor cleanrooms)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with BIM tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks)
  • PM/CM experience (schedule, budget, and vendor management)
  • Ability to write technical documents and communicate in English
  • Willingness and ability to travel overseas

Seoul headquarters or project sites in the Seoul metro area
Occasional overseas travel may be required.
